Toledo Rockets vs Ball State Cardinals Recap - Rockets Win 22-12

Dequan Finn scampered through the Ball State defense for 106 yards as Toledo handed the Cardinals a 22-12 defeat on Saturday at Scheumann Stadium.

Dequan Finn rushed for 106 yards, while Bryant Koback added 84 yards in the win. Devin Maddox and Isaiah Winstead added 75 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Justin Hall rushed for 64 yards for Ball State, while Drew Plitt added 26 yards. Drew Plitt threw for 190 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Justin Hall and Jayshon Jackson had 97 and 26 yards respectively.

Toledo outgained Ball State 444-312 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 19-17 by the Rockets.

Toledo led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:03-26:57 split in that important category.

Next game, Toledo takes its act on the road to face Massachusetts looking for another win. For Ball State, they head home to face Army.
