Huskies Fall 24-22 Against Wyoming - Game Recap

Xazavian Valladay ran for 101 yards as Wyoming handled UCONN by a score of 24-22 on Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

Wyoming did not, however, defeat the Huskies against the spread, which closed at -31.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.

Xazavian Valladay rushed for 101 yards, while Titus Swen added 84 yards in the win. Ayden Eberhardt and Xazavian Valladay added 40 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Nathan Carter rushed for 65 yards for UCONN, while Tyler Phommachanh added 14 yards. Tyler Phommachanh threw for 171 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Aaron Turner and Jay Rose had 49 and 42 yards respectively.

Wyoming outgained UCONN 352-281 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-19 by the Cowboys.

UCONN lost the time of possession battle 35:29-24:31, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Wyoming takes its act on the road to face Air Force looking for another win. For UCONN, they head on the road to face Vanderbilt.
