Florida Falls 20-13 to Wildcats - Recap

The Gators came up short against the Wildcats in Week 5 action on Saturday, falling 20-13 at Kroger Field.

Kentucky won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +7.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 56.0.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 99 yards, while Will Levis added 21 yards in the win. Wan'Dale Robinson and Josh Ali added 65 and 15 receiving yards respectively.

Emory Jones rushed for 63 yards for Florida, while Dameon Pierce added 54 yards. Emory Jones threw for 203 yards for the Gators, while receivers Jacob Copeland and Trent Whittemore had 59 and 36 yards respectively.

Kentucky lost the offensive yardage battle to Florida 382-224 yards in Saturday's game. Florida had more first downs as that total ended up 21-13.

Florida led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:18-23:42 split in that important category.

Next game, Kentucky takes its act home to face LSU looking for another win. For Florida, they head home to face Vanderbilt.
