Baylor Falls 24-14 to Cowboys - Recap
The Bears had no answer for Jaylen Warren on Saturday as the Cowboys rolled to a 24-14 win at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Oklahoma State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.0.
Jaylen Warren rushed for 125 yards, while Spencer Sanders added 76 yards in the win. Tay Martin and Rashod Owens added 110 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Abram Smith rushed for 97 yards for Baylor, while Gerry Bohanon added 13 yards. Gerry Bohanon threw for 173 yards for the Bears, while receivers Drew Estrada and Tyquan Thornton had 88 and 52 yards respectively.
Baylor was outgained by Oklahoma State 401-280 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-10 by the Cowboys.
Baylor lost the time of possession battle 34:33-25:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Oklahoma State takes its act on the road to face Texas looking for another win. For Baylor, they head home to face West Virginia.
