Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Purdue Boilermakers Wrap - Minnesota Wins 20-13

The Boilermakers were burned by Mike Brown-Stephens for 105 receiving yards on Saturday as the Golden Gophers picked up a 20-13 win at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Minnesota won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.0.

Trey Potts rushed for 78 yards, while Cole Kramer added 32 yards in the win. Mike Brown-Stephens and Chris Autman-Bell added 105 and 40 receiving yards respectively.

King Doerue rushed for 95 yards for Purdue, while Austin Burton added 14 yards. Aidan O'Connell threw for 371 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers David Bell and Milton Wright had 120 and 91 yards respectively.

Minnesota lost the offensive yardage battle to Purdue 448-294 yards in Saturday's game. Purdue had more first downs as that total ended up 28-12.

Purdue led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:22-26:38 split in that important category.

Next game, Minnesota takes its act home to face Nebraska looking for another win. For Purdue, they head on the road to face Iowa.
