Mountaineers Fall 45-20 Against Baylor - Game Recap

Gerry Bohanon was good for 336 yards through the air on Saturday as the Bears got past the Mountaineers by a score of 45-20 at McLane Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Bears were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -1.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 45.5.

Gerry Bohanon completed 18 of 29 pass attempts for 336 yards for the Bears in the win.

Garrett Greene rushed for 55 yards for West Virginia, while Leddie Brown added 44 yards. Jarret Doege threw for 237 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Winston Wright Jr. and Sam James had 86 and 70 yards respectively.

West Virginia lost the offensive yardage battle to Baylor 525-362 yards in Saturday's game. West Virginia had more first downs as that total ended up 24-21.

The time of possession battle favored West Virginia as their offense was on the field for 34:21, longer than the 25:39 of their opponents.

Baylor looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against BYU. West Virginia will aim to get back on the winning track at TCU.
