Rams vs Spartans Final: 32-14 - Recap

A'Jon Vivens ran for 114 yards as Colorado State handled San Jose State by a score of 32-14 on Saturday at Canvas Stadium.

Colorado State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 44.0.

A'Jon Vivens rushed for 114 yards, while Jaylen Thomas added 62 yards in the win. Ty McCullouch and Trey McBride added 71 and 60 receiving yards respectively.

Tyler Nevens rushed for 48 yards for San Jose State, while Nick Nash added 38 yards. Nick Nash threw for 154 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Isaiah Hamilton and Derrick Deese Jr. had 84 and 52 yards respectively.

San Jose State lost the offensive yardage battle to Colorado State 449-267 yards in Saturday's game. Colorado State had more first downs as that total ended up 21-13.

San Jose State lost the time of possession battle 34:45-21:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Colorado State takes its act on the road to face New Mexico looking for another win. For San Jose State, they head home to face San Diego State.
