Ball State Defeats Eastern Michigan 38-31 - Recap

Ball State got a 138-yard performance from Carson Steele as a key part of its 38-31 victory over the Eagles on Saturday at Rynearson Stadium.

Carson Steele rushed for 138 yards, while Will Jones added 47 yards in the win. Justin Hall and Jayshon Jackson added 58 and 57 receiving yards respectively.

Eastern Michigan was outgained by Ball State 433-385 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 29-28 by the Cardinals.

Ball State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:21-27:17 split in that important category.

Next game, Ball State takes its act home to face Miami-OH looking for another win. For Eastern Michigan, they head on the road to face Bowling Green.
