Recap - Lobos Defeat Wyoming 14-3

The Lobos grabbed a Week 8 victory over the Cowboys on Saturday, winning 14-3 at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium.

The Lobos were a +19.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 40.5.

Isaiah Chavez rushed for 49 yards, while Luke Wysong added 46 yards in the win. Kyle Jarvis and Trace Bruckler added 46 and 43 receiving yards respectively.

Xazavian Valladay rushed for 41 yards for Wyoming, while Titus Swen added 27 yards. Sean Chambers threw for 96 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Isaiah Neyor and Ayden Eberhardt had 45 and 31 yards respectively.

Wyoming lost the offensive yardage battle to New Mexico 259-255 yards in Saturday's game. Wyoming had more first downs as that total ended up 16-12.

New Mexico led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:14-25:46 split in that important category.

Next game, New Mexico takes its act home to face UNLV looking for another win. For Wyoming, they head on the road to face San Jose State.
