Yellow Jackets Fall 33-30 Against Miami-FL - Game Recap
Tyler Van Dyke sliced and diced the Yellow Jackets defense for 389 yards as Miami-FL handed Georgia Tech a 33-30 defeat on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.
Miami-FL did not, however, defeat the Yellow Jackets against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 62.5.
Tyler Van Dyke completed 22 of 34 pass attempts for 389 yards for the Hurricanes in the win.
Jordan Mason rushed for 75 yards for Georgia Tech, while Jahmyr Gibbs added 67 yards. Jeff Sims threw for 194 yards for the Yellow Jackets, while receivers Jahmyr Gibbs and Malachi Carter had 72 and 50 yards respectively.
Georgia Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to Miami-FL 563-329 yards in Saturday's game. Miami-FL had more first downs as that total ended up 24-15.
Miami-FL lost the time of possession battle 34:13-25:47, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Miami-FL takes its act on the road to face Florida State looking for another win. For Georgia Tech, they head home to face Boston College.
