Oklahoma State Cowboys vs West Virginia Mountaineers Recap - Cowboys Win 24-3

The battle between the Cowboys and Mountaineers didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as West Virginia was handed a 24-3 defeat on Saturday at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The Cowboys were a -3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.5.

Jaylen Warren rushed for 78 yards, while Spencer Sanders added 18 yards in the win. Tay Martin and Brennan Presley added 63 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Tony Mathis Jr. rushed for 25 yards for West Virginia, while Leddie Brown added 24 yards. Jarret Doege threw for 109 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Sam James and Reese Smith had 46 and 21 yards respectively.

West Virginia was outgained by Oklahoma State 285-133 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 17-11 by the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State lost the time of possession battle 31:08-28:51, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Oklahoma State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against TCU. West Virginia will aim to get back on the winning track at Kansas State.
