Recap - Bears Defeat Oklahoma 27-14

Baylor got a 148-yard performance from Abram Smith as a key part of its 27-14 victory over the Sooners on Saturday at McLane Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Bears were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +4.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 63.5.

Abram Smith rushed for 148 yards, while Gerry Bohanon added 107 yards in the win. Tyquan Thornton and R.J. Sneed added 41 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Kennedy Brooks rushed for 51 yards for Oklahoma, while Caleb Williams added 17 yards. Spencer Rattler threw for 36 yards for the Sooners, while receivers Michael Woods II and Jadon Haselwood had 53 and 51 yards respectively.

Oklahoma was outgained by Baylor 413-260 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-17 by the Bears.

Baylor led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:19-24:41 split in that important category.

Next game, Baylor takes its act on the road to face Kansas State looking for another win. For Oklahoma, they head home to face Iowa State.
