Vanderbilt Commodores vs Ole Miss Rebels Recap - Rebels Win 31-17

Ole Miss's aerial attack produced 326 yards and the Rebels produced a 31-17 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

The Rebels earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -35.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 64.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Matt Corral completed 27 of 36 pass attempts for 326 yards for the Rebels in the win.

Rocko Griffin rushed for 117 yards for Vanderbilt, while Mike Wright added 61 yards. Mike Wright threw for 241 yards for the Commodores, while receivers Chris Pierce Jr. and Cam Johnson had 113 and 47 yards respectively.

Ole Miss outgained Vanderbilt 470-454 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-23 by the Commodores.

The time of possession battle favored Vanderbilt as their offense was on the field for 38:57, longer than the 21:03 of their opponents.

Ole Miss looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Mississippi State. Vanderbilt will aim to get back on the winning track at Tennessee.
