Kent State Falls 33-3 to Sooners - Recap

Marvin Mims caught 7 passes for 163 yards against the Kent State defense as Oklahoma handed the Golden Flashes a 33-3 loss on Saturday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

The Sooners won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -33.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Eric Gray rushed for 71 yards, while Marcus Major added 38 yards in the win. Marvin Mims and Theo Wease added 163 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Collin Schlee rushed for 55 yards for Kent State, while Marquez Cooper added 55 yards. Devin Kargman threw for 0 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Dante Cephas and Kris Leach had 50 and 23 yards respectively.

Oklahoma lost the time of possession battle 36:19-23:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Oklahoma looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Nebraska. Kent State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. LIU.
