TCU Defeats SMU 42-34 - Recap

Kendre Miller ran for 142 yards as TCU handled SMU by a score of 42-34 on Saturday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

Kendre Miller rushed for 142 yards, while Emari Demercado added 64 yards in the win. Derius Davis and Savion Williams added 78 and 44 receiving yards respectively.

Tre Siggers rushed for 60 yards for SMU, while Velton Gardner added 39 yards. Tanner Mordecai threw for 372 yards for the Mustangs, while receivers Jake Bailey and Rashee Rice had 163 and 74 yards respectively.

SMU was outgained by TCU 487-476 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-21 by the Mustangs.

The time of possession battle favored TCU as their offense was on the field for 31:18, longer than the 28:42 of their opponents.

TCU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oklahoma. SMU will aim to get back on the winning track at UCF.
