Recap - Fighting Illini Defeat Wyoming 38-6

Illinois got a 151-yard performance from Chase Brown as a key part of its 38-6 victory over the Cowboys on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Illinois won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -14.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 42.5.

Chase Brown rushed for 151 yards, while Reggie Love III added 46 yards in the win. Pat Bryant and Brian Hightower added 44 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

Titus Swen rushed for 98 yards for Wyoming, while Andrew Peasley added 76 yards. Andrew Peasley threw for 30 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Joshua Cobbs and Joey Braasch had 14 and 7 yards respectively.

Wyoming lost the offensive yardage battle to Illinois 477-212 yards in Saturday's game. Illinois had more first downs as that total ended up 26-10.

The time of possession battle favored Illinois as their offense was on the field for 36:36, longer than the 23:24 of their opponents.

Illinois looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Indiana. Wyoming will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Tulsa.
