WKU Falls 33-30 to Hoosiers - Recap

Connor Bazelak's 364-yard performance through the air was the key in Indiana's 33-30 win over WKU on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Indiana won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -7.0-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 61.5.

Connor Bazelak completed 33 of 55 pass attempts for 364 yards for the Hoosiers in the win.

Kye Robichaux rushed for 135 yards for WKU, while Jakairi Moses added 45 yards. Austin Reed threw for 329 yards for the Hilltoppers, while receivers Daewood Davis and Malachi Corley had 77 and 77 yards respectively.

Indiana lost the offensive yardage battle to WKU 545-484 yards in Saturday's game. Indiana had more first downs as that total ended up 28-25.

WKU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:21-27:39 split in that important category.

Indiana heads into a Week 4 battle against Cincinnati. WKU, meanwhile, will have their next action against FIU.
