Panthers Fall 26-21 Against Georgia Tech - Game Recap

Hassan Hall scampered through the Pittsburgh defense for 157 yards as Georgia Tech handed the Panthers a 26-21 defeat on Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.

Georgia Tech won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +21.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 46.5.

Hassan Hall rushed for 157 yards, while Jeff Sims added 81 yards in the win. E.J. Jenkins and Nate McCollum added 54 and 24 receiving yards respectively.

Vincent Davis rushed for 80 yards for Pittsburgh, while Israel Abanikanda added 31 yards. Kedon Slovis threw for 305 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Jared Wayne and Konata Mumpfield had 89 and 75 yards respectively.

Georgia Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 411-334 yards in Saturday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 25-17.

Georgia Tech led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:04-28:56 split in that important category.

Georgia Tech heads into a 6 battle against Duke. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, will have their next action against Virginia Tech.
