Hurricanes vs Cavaliers Final: 14-12 - Recap

Henry Parrish Jr. scampered through the Virginia defense for 113 yards as Miami-FL handed the Cavaliers a 14-12 defeat on Saturday at David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium.

Miami-FL did not, however, defeat the Cavaliers against the spread, which closed at -3.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 49.0.

Henry Parrish Jr. rushed for 113 yards, while Jacurri Brown added 28 yards in the win. Colbie Young and Will Mallory added 46 and 22 receiving yards respectively.

Brennan Armstrong rushed for 67 yards for Virginia, while Perris Jones added 28 yards. Keytaon Thompson threw for 0 yards for the Cavaliers, while receivers Mike Hollins and Lavel Davis Jr. had 64 and 47 yards respectively.

Miami-FL lost the offensive yardage battle to Virginia 327-272 yards in Saturday's game. Miami-FL had more first downs as that total ended up 17-14.

The time of possession battle favored Miami-FL as their offense was on the field for 32:42, longer than the 27:18 of their opponents.

Miami-FL looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Florida State. Virginia will aim to get back on the winning track vs. North Carolina.
