Kansas State Defeats West Virginia 48-31 - Recap

Malik Knowles was good for 111 receiving yards on Saturday as the Wildcats grabbed a 48-31 win over the Mountaineers at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Kansas State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 55.0.

DJ Giddens rushed for 78 yards, while Deuce Vaughn added 67 yards in the win. Malik Knowles and Ben Sinnott added 111 and 85 receiving yards respectively.

Jaylen Anderson rushed for 69 yards for West Virginia, while Justin Johnson Jr. added 63 yards. Garrett Greene threw for 204 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Sam James and Cortez Braham had 102 and 54 yards respectively.

Kansas State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:36-28:24 split in that important category.

Kansas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kansas. West Virginia will aim to get back on the winning track at Oklahoma State.
