Michigan Defeats Hawaii 56-10 - Recap

The battle between the Wolverines and Rainbow Warriors didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Hawaii was handed a 56-10 defeat on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan did not, however, defeat the Rainbow Warriors against the spread, which closed at -53.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 66.5.

Blake Corum rushed for 88 yards, while CJ Stokes added 61 yards in the win. Ronnie Bell and Cornelius Johnson added 76 and 71 receiving yards respectively.

Tylan Hines rushed for 75 yards for Hawaii, while Dedrick Parson added 28 yards. Nasjzae Bryant-Lelei threw for 0 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers James Phillips and Greyson Morgan had 33 and 21 yards respectively.

Hawaii was outgained by Michigan 588-253 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-13 by the Wolverines.

The time of possession battle favored Hawaii as their offense was on the field for 32:40, longer than the 27:20 of their opponents.

Next game, Michigan takes its act home to face UCONN looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head home to face Duquesne.
