Cougars vs Cowboys Final: 38-24 - Recap
Jaren Hall sliced and diced the Cowboys defense for 337 yards as BYU handed Wyoming a 38-24 defeat on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
BYU did not, however, defeat the Cowboys against the spread, which closed at -21.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.0.
Jaren Hall completed 26 of 32 pass attempts for 337 yards for the Cougars in the win.
Titus Swen rushed for 78 yards for Wyoming, while Dawaiian McNeely added 33 yards. Andrew Peasley threw for 154 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Joshua Cobbs and Wyatt Wieland had 64 and 27 yards respectively.
BYU outgained Wyoming 525-278 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-19 by the Cowboys.
BYU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:23-29:37 split in that important category.
BYU heads into a Week 5 battle against Utah State. Wyoming, meanwhile, will have their next action against San Jose State.
