Hawaii Falls 45-26 to Aggies - Recap

Star Thomas ran for 144 yards as New Mexico State handled Hawaii by a score of 45-26 on Saturday at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

The Aggies were a -4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 53.0.

Star Thomas rushed for 144 yards, while Gavin Frakes added 78 yards in the win. Justice Powers and Bryce Childress added 47 and 11 receiving yards respectively.

Dedrick Parson rushed for 69 yards for Hawaii, while Tylan Hines added 39 yards. Brayden Schager threw for 261 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers Caleb Phillips and James Phillips had 138 and 40 yards respectively.

Hawaii lost the offensive yardage battle to New Mexico State 438-411 yards in Saturday's game. Hawaii had more first downs as that total ended up 23-19.

Hawaii led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:47-27:13 split in that important category.

Next game, New Mexico State takes its act home to face FIU looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head on the road to face San Diego State.
