Western Michigan Falls 34-6 to Spartans - Recap
Justin Lockhart caught 4 passes for 116 yards against the Western Michigan defense as San Jose State handed the Broncos a 34-6 loss on Saturday at CEFCU Stadium.
San Jose State was a favorite by -6.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 49.0.
Kairee Robinson rushed for 81 yards, while Chevan Cordeiro added 30 yards in the win. Justin Lockhart and Charles Ross added 116 and 49 receiving yards respectively.
Sean Tyler rushed for 66 yards for Western Michigan, while La'Darius Jefferson added 28 yards. Stone Hollenbach threw for 15 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Corey Crooms and Blake Bosma had 39 and 16 yards respectively.
Western Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to San Jose State 397-201 yards in Saturday's game. San Jose State had more first downs as that total ended up 16-13.
Western Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:33-25:27 split in that important category.
