Scarlet Knights Fall 31-0 Against Minnesota - Game Recap

Rutgers was unable to contain Mohamed Ibrahim on Saturday and the result was a 31-0 Week 9 loss against the Golden Gophers.

The Golden Gophers were a -14.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 41.0.

Mohamed Ibrahim rushed for 159 yards, while Trey Potts added 57 yards in the win. Daniel Jackson and Brevyn Spann-Ford added 51 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Kyle Monangai rushed for 29 yards for Rutgers, while Gavin Wimsatt added 9 yards. Noah Vedral threw for 18 yards for the Scarlet Knights, while receivers Sean Ryan and Johnny Langan had 46 and 26 yards respectively.

Rutgers lost the offensive yardage battle to Minnesota 375-134 yards in Saturday's game. Minnesota had more first downs as that total ended up 21-7.

The time of possession battle favored Minnesota as their offense was on the field for 41:02, longer than the 18:58 of their opponents.

Minnesota heads into a Week 10 battle against Nebraska. Rutgers, meanwhile, will have their next action against Michigan.
