Minnesota Defeats Nebraska 20-13 - Recap

Mohamed Ibrahim scampered through the Nebraska defense for 128 yards as Minnesota handed the Cornhuskers a 20-13 defeat on Saturday at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

Minnesota won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -15.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 44.0.

Mohamed Ibrahim rushed for 128 yards, while Athan Kaliakmanis added 27 yards in the win. Daniel Jackson and Dylan Wright added 88 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Anthony Grant rushed for 115 yards for Nebraska, while Chubba Purdy added 24 yards. Logan Smothers threw for 80 yards for the Cornhuskers, while receivers Marcus Washington and Trey Palmer had 63 and 37 yards respectively.

Nebraska lost the offensive yardage battle to Minnesota 300-267 yards in Saturday's game. Minnesota had more first downs as that total ended up 18-13.

Nebraska lost the time of possession battle 34:41-25:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Minnesota heads into a 11 battle against Northwestern. Nebraska, meanwhile, will have their next action against Michigan.
