Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs Navy Midshipmen Recap - Fighting Irish Win 35-32
The Fighting Irish were Week 11 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Midshipmen by a score of 35-32 at M&T Bank Stadium.
Notre Dame won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -17.0-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 41.0.
Audric Estime rushed for 49 yards, while Logan Diggs added 31 yards in the win. Jayden Thomas and Braden Lenzy added 80 and 67 receiving yards respectively.
Daba Fofana rushed for 133 yards for Navy, while Xavier Arline added 59 yards. Xavier Arline threw for 57 yards for the Midshipmen, while receivers Mark Walker and Maquel Haywood had 67 and 20 yards respectively.
Notre Dame lost the offensive yardage battle to Navy 363-335 yards in Saturday's game. Navy had more first downs as that total ended up 18-15.
Navy led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:39-29:21 split in that important category.
Notre Dame looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Boston College. Navy will aim to get back on the winning track at UCF.
