Recap - Knights Defeat Cincinnati 25-21
The Bearcats came up short against the Knights in Week 9 action on Saturday, falling 25-21 at FBC Mortgage Stadium.
UCF won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 55.5.
RJ Harvey rushed for 84 yards, while Isaiah Bowser added 58 yards in the win. Kobe Hudson and Ryan O'Keefe added 74 and 69 receiving yards respectively.
Ryan Montgomery rushed for 40 yards for Cincinnati, while Charles McClelland added 36 yards. Ben Bryant threw for 298 yards for the Bearcats, while receivers Tre Tucker and Tyler Scott had 110 and 47 yards respectively.
Cincinnati was outgained by UCF 505-333 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 30-18 by the Knights.
Cincinnati lost the time of possession battle 37:05-22:55, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
UCF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Memphis. Cincinnati will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Navy.
