Recap - Golden Eagles Defeat Arkansas State 20-19
Southern Miss earned a 20-19 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday in Week 7 action at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.

Arkansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Southern Miss 345-286 yards in Saturday's game. Southern Miss had more first downs as that total ended up 22-20.
The time of possession battle favored Southern Miss as their offense was on the field for 30:20, longer than the 29:40 of their opponents.
