Recap - Thundering Herd Defeat Appalachian State 28-21

Appalachian State was unable to slow down Charles Montgomery, who produced 109 receiving yards as the Thundering Herd defeated the Mountaineers 28-21 on Saturday.

Khalan Laborn rushed for 53 yards, while Cam Fancher added 37 yards in the win. Charles Montgomery and Corey Gammage added 109 and 91 receiving yards respectively.

Nate Noel rushed for 72 yards for Appalachian State, while Camerun Peoples added 21 yards. Chase Brice threw for 177 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Christan Horn and Henry Pearson had 66 and 29 yards respectively.

Marshall heads into a Week 12 battle against Georgia Southern. Appalachian State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Old Dominion.
