Blue Raiders Fall 41-14 Against UAB - Game Recap
DeWayne McBride scampered through the Middle Tennessee defense for 120 yards as UAB handed the Blue Raiders a 41-14 defeat on Saturday at Protective Stadium.
UAB won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -10.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 53.5.
DeWayne McBride rushed for 120 yards, while Jermaine Brown Jr. added 114 yards in the win. Trea Shropshire and Tejhaun Palmer added 193 and 30 receiving yards respectively.
Joe Ervin rushed for 54 yards for Middle Tennessee, while Frank Peasant added 40 yards. Chase Cunningham threw for 196 yards for the Blue Raiders, while receivers Jaylin Lane and Izaiah Gathings had 59 and 38 yards respectively.
UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:20-25:40 split in that important category.
UAB looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Charlotte. Middle Tennessee will aim to get back on the winning track vs. WKU.
