WKU Hilltoppers vs UTSA Roadrunners Wrap - UTSA Wins 31-28

The Hilltoppers came up short against the Roadrunners in Week 6 action on Saturday, falling 31-28 at Alamodome.

UTSA won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 72.5.

Brenden Brady rushed for 82 yards, while Trelon Smith added 65 yards in the win. Zakhari Franklin and De'Corian Clark added 95 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Kye Robichaux rushed for 65 yards for WKU, while Austin Reed added 43 yards. Austin Reed threw for 373 yards for the Hilltoppers, while receivers Malachi Corley and Daewood Davis had 131 and 120 yards respectively.

WKU lost the offensive yardage battle to UTSA 486-481 yards in Saturday's game. UTSA had more first downs as that total ended up 30-26.

The time of possession battle favored UTSA as their offense was on the field for 30:02, longer than the 29:58 of their opponents.

Next game, UTSA takes its act on the road to face FIU looking for another win. For WKU, they head on the road to face Middle Tennessee.
