Recap - Roadrunners Defeat UAB 44-38
The Blazers had no answer for Kevorian Barnes on Saturday as the Roadrunners rolled to a 44-38 win at Protective Stadium.
The Roadrunners were a -2.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 52.5.
Kevorian Barnes rushed for 114 yards, while Brenden Brady added 53 yards in the win. Zakhari Franklin and Oscar Cardenas added 93 and 86 receiving yards respectively.
DeWayne McBride rushed for 141 yards for UAB, while Jermaine Brown Jr. added 43 yards. Jacob Zeno threw for 332 yards for the Blazers, while receivers Tejhaun Palmer and Trea Shropshire had 110 and 97 yards respectively.
UTSA lost the time of possession battle 31:28-28:32, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
UTSA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against LA Tech. UAB will aim to get back on the winning track vs. North Texas.
