Western Michigan Falls 48-7 to Orange - Recap

Western Michigan couldn't hang with the Orange on Saturday as Syracuse blasted the Broncos 48-7 in Week 2 action at JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse was the ATS victor, as they covered the -24.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 57.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Juwaun Price rushed for 68 yards, while Ike Daniels added 36 yards in the win. Donovan Brown and Isaiah Jones added 89 and 86 receiving yards respectively.

Jalen Buckley rushed for 87 yards for Western Michigan, while Zahir Abdus-Salaam added 11 yards. Hayden Wolff threw for 47 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Kenneth Womack and Austin Hence had 67 and 59 yards respectively.

Syracuse outgained Western Michigan 496-318 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-15 by the Orange.

Western Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:57-29:03 split in that important category.

Syracuse looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Purdue. Western Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track at Iowa.
