Cardinals Down Indiana 21-14 - Match Report
The Hoosiers had no answer for Jawhar Jordan on Saturday as the Cardinals rolled to a 21-14 win at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Louisville did not, however, defeat the Hoosiers against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 50.5.
Jawhar Jordan rushed for 113 yards, while Jack Plummer added 42 yards in the win. Jamari Thrash and Ahmari Huggins-Bruce added 159 and 28 receiving yards respectively.
Jaylin Lucas rushed for 29 yards for Indiana, while Josh Henderson added 26 yards. Tayven Jackson threw for 299 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Jaylin Lucas and Cam Camper had 98 and 74 yards respectively.
Louisville outgained Indiana 422-357 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-19 by the Cardinals.
Indiana led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:12-28:48 split in that important category.
Next game, Louisville takes its act home to face Boston College looking for another win. For Indiana, they head home to face Akron.
