Rainbow Warriors Down New Mexico State 20-17 - Match Report

The Rainbow Warriors grabbed a Week 4 victory over the Aggies on Sunday, winning 20-17 at Clarence T.C. Ching Complex.

Bettors who backed the Rainbow Warriors were disappointed, as they failed to cover the closing number of -4.5. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 55.0.

Jordan Johnson rushed for 44 yards, while Landon Sims added 28 yards in the win. Pofele Ashlock and Steven McBride added 77 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Diego Pavia rushed for 97 yards for New Mexico State, while Star Thomas added 38 yards. Diego Pavia threw for 155 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Jordin Parker and Monte Watkins had 42 and 39 yards respectively.

New Mexico State lost the offensive yardage battle to Hawaii 343-335 yards in Sunday's game. Hawaii had more first downs as that total ended up 22-16.

The time of possession battle favored Hawaii as their offense was on the field for 33:10, longer than the 26:50 of their opponents.

Next game, Hawaii takes its act on the road to face UNLV looking for another win. For New Mexico State, they head home to face FIU.
