Scarlet Knights Fall 31-7 Against Michigan - Game Recap

Rutgers couldn't hang with the Wolverines on Saturday as Michigan blasted the Scarlet Knights 31-7 in Week 4 action at Michigan Stadium.

Even though Michigan won, nobody won at the betting window as the game was a push (based on the closing point spread of -24.0. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 44.5.

Blake Corum rushed for 97 yards, while J.J. McCarthy added 51 yards in the win. Colston Loveland and Roman Wilson added 75 and 59 receiving yards respectively.

Michigan outgained Rutgers 415-257 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-10 by the Wolverines.

Rutgers lost the time of possession battle 36:08-23:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Nebraska. Rutgers will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Wagner.
