Nevada Falls 35-24 to Bobcats - Recap
Ismail Mahdi tore up the turf for 216 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bobcats to a 35-24 win over the Wolf Pack at Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium.
The Bobcats earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -17.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 59.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Ismail Mahdi rushed for 216 yards, while Jahmyl Jeter added 23 yards in the win. Kole Wilson and Joey Hobert added 93 and 90 receiving yards respectively.
Brendon Lewis rushed for 89 yards for Nevada, while Sean Dollars added 42 yards. Brendon Lewis threw for 151 yards for the Wolf Pack, while receivers Isaiah Essissima and Keleki Latu had 67 and 52 yards respectively.
Nevada was outgained by Texas State 574-353 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-20 by the Bobcats.
Nevada led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:25-28:35 split in that important category.
Next game, Texas State takes its act on the road to face Southern Miss looking for another win. For Nevada, they head on the road to face Fresno State.
