UCF Falls 36-35 to Bears - Recap
The Knights were burned by Monaray Baldwin for 150 receiving yards on Saturday as the Bears picked up a 36-35 win at FBC Mortgage Stadium.
Baylor won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +8.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 56.5.
Richard Reese rushed for 100 yards, while Dominic Richardson added 37 yards in the win. Monaray Baldwin and Dominic Richardson added 150 and 26 receiving yards respectively.
Johnny Richardson rushed for 105 yards for UCF, while RJ Harvey added 95 yards. Timmy McClain threw for 234 yards for the Knights, while receivers Javon Baker and Alec Holler had 113 and 38 yards respectively.
Baylor was outgained by UCF 469-446 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-18 by the Bears.
Baylor led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:31-24:29 split in that important category.
Next game, Baylor takes its act home to face Texas Tech looking for another win. For UCF, they head on the road to face Kansas.
