Recap - Wildcats Defeat Florida 33-14

Ray Davis tore up the turf for 280 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Wildcats to a 33-14 win over the Gators at Kroger Field.

The Wildcats were a -1.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 43.5.

Ray Davis rushed for 280 yards, while Demie Sumo-Karngbaye added 32 yards in the win. Barion Brown and Tayvion Robinson added 37 and 25 receiving yards respectively.

Montrell Johnson Jr. rushed for 42 yards for Florida, while Trevor Etienne added 29 yards. Graham Mertz threw for 244 yards for the Gators, while receivers Ricky Pearsall and Kahleil Jackson had 62 and 41 yards respectively.

Florida lost the offensive yardage battle to Kentucky 398-313 yards in Saturday's game. Kentucky had more first downs as that total ended up 23-15.

Florida led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:14-28:46 split in that important category.

Next game, Kentucky takes its act on the road to face Georgia looking for another win. For Florida, they head home to face Vanderbilt.
