Braydon Bennett rushed for 114 yards for Coastal Carolina, while Grayson McCall added 40 yards. Grayson McCall threw for 299 yards for the Chanticleers, while receivers Sam Pinckney and Jared Brown had 132 and 106 yards respectively.
Georgia Southern lost the offensive yardage battle to Coastal Carolina 465-438 yards in Saturday's game. Georgia Southern had more first downs as that total ended up 27-21.
Coastal Carolina lost the time of possession battle 32:30-27:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
