Byrum Brown rushed for 136 yards for USF, while Michel Dukes added 30 yards. Byrum Brown threw for 260 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Sean Atkins and Jaden Alexis had 91 and 51 yards respectively.
UAB outgained USF 608-471 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-24 by the Blazers.
UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:15-26:45 split in that important category.
Next game, UAB takes its act on the road to face UTSA looking for another win. For USF, they head home to face Florida Atlantic.
