Recap - Falcons Defeat Wyoming 34-27
The Cowboys had no answer for Zac Larrier on Saturday as the Falcons rolled to a 34-27 win at Falcon Stadium.
Air Force did not, however, defeat the Cowboys against the spread, which closed at -12.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 41.0.
Zac Larrier rushed for 111 yards, while Emmanuel Michel added 97 yards in the win. Jared Roznos and John Lee Eldridge III added 34 and 17 receiving yards respectively.
Andrew Peasley rushed for 48 yards for Wyoming, while Sam Scott added 43 yards. Andrew Peasley threw for 212 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Sam Scott and John Michael Gyllenborg had 43 and 40 yards respectively.
Wyoming was outgained by Air Force 414-321 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-18 by the Falcons.
The time of possession battle favored Wyoming as their offense was on the field for 30:13, longer than the 29:47 of their opponents.
Next game, Air Force takes its act on the road to face Navy looking for another win. For Wyoming, they head on the road to face Boise State.
