Wildcats vs Cougars Final: 41-0 - Recap

Houston was shut out 41-0 on Saturday, stymied by a Kansas State defense that led the team to victory at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

The Wildcats were a -17.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 61.0.

DJ Giddens rushed for 96 yards, while Treshaun Ward added 32 yards in the win. Phillip Brooks and Garrett Oakley added 83 and 36 receiving yards respectively.

Parker Jenkins rushed for 56 yards for Houston, while Ui Ale added 28 yards. Ui Ale threw for 7 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Samuel Brown and Dalton Carnes had 49 and 18 yards respectively.

Houston lost the offensive yardage battle to Kansas State 394-208 yards in Saturday's game. Kansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-11.

The time of possession battle favored Kansas State as their offense was on the field for 34:34, longer than the 25:26 of their opponents.

Kansas State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Texas. Houston will aim to get back on the winning track at Baylor.
