Yellow Jackets Fall 42-21 Against Clemson - Game Recap

Georgia Tech couldn't hang with the Tigers on Saturday as Clemson blasted the Yellow Jackets 42-21 in Week 11 action at Memorial Stadium.

The Tigers were a -14.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 54.0.

Phil Mafah rushed for 96 yards, while Will Shipley added 77 yards in the win. Beaux Collins and Tyler Brown added 65 and 41 receiving yards respectively.

Jamal Haynes rushed for 104 yards for Georgia Tech, while Dontae Smith added 16 yards. Haynes King threw for 129 yards for the Yellow Jackets, while receivers Christian Leary and Dontae Smith had 41 and 30 yards respectively.

Clemson outgained Georgia Tech 465-254 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-13 by the Tigers.

Georgia Tech lost the time of possession battle 36:52-23:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Clemson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against North Carolina. Georgia Tech will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Syracuse.
