Oklahoma Defeats West Virginia 59-20 - Recap

Dillon Gabriel's 423-yard performance through the air was the key in Oklahoma's 59-20 win over West Virginia on Saturday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

The Sooners were a -13.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 60.5.

Dillon Gabriel completed 23 of 36 pass attempts for 423 yards for the Sooners in the win.

CJ Donaldson Jr. rushed for 79 yards for West Virginia, while Jahiem White added 39 yards. Garrett Greene threw for 154 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Devin Carter and Traylon Ray had 67 and 56 yards respectively.

West Virginia was outgained by Oklahoma 644-330 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-17 by the Sooners.

Oklahoma lost the time of possession battle 30:32-29:28, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Oklahoma takes its act on the road to face BYU looking for another win. For West Virginia, they head home to face Cincinnati.
