Texas A&M Defeats Arizona State 38-17 - Recap

The battle between the Aggies and Sun Devils didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Arizona State was handed a 38-17 defeat on Saturday at NRG Stadium.

Texas A&M was the ATS victor, as they covered the -3.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 64.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Demario Richard rushed for 73 yards, while DJ Foster added 13 yards in the win. Ellis Jefferson and DJ Foster added 69 and 48 receiving yards respectively.

Tra Carson rushed for 96 yards for Arizona State, while Kyler Murray added 69 yards. Kyle Allen threw for 198 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Christian Kirk and Josh Reynolds had 106 and 78 yards respectively.

Arizona State lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas A&M 425-291 yards in Saturday's game. Texas A&M had more first downs as that total ended up 22-19.

Texas A&M lost the time of possession battle 31:31-28:29, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Texas A&M looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Ball State. Arizona State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Cal Poly.
