Stanford Cardinal vs UCLA Bruins Recap - Cardinal Win 22-13

Christian McCaffrey scampered through the UCLA defense for 138 yards as Stanford handed the Bruins a 22-13 defeat on Saturday at Rose Bowl.

Stanford won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -1.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.5.

Christian McCaffrey rushed for 138 yards, while Bryce Love added 51 yards in the win. Trenton Irwin and JJ Arcega-Whiteside added 81 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Bolu Olorunfunmi rushed for 51 yards for UCLA, while Nate Starks added 24 yards. Josh Rosen threw for 248 yards for the Bruins, while receivers Nate Iese and Kenneth Walker had 89 and 38 yards respectively.

UCLA lost the offensive yardage battle to Stanford 350-325 yards in Saturday's game. Stanford had more first downs as that total ended up 20-16.

The time of possession battle favored Stanford as their offense was on the field for 32:35, longer than the 27:25 of their opponents.

Next game, Stanford takes its act on the road to face Washington looking for another win. For UCLA, they head home to face Arizona.
