Beavers Fall 26-15 Against Stanford - Game Recap
Christian McCaffrey tore up the turf for 199 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Cardinal to a 26-15 win over the Beavers at Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -16.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Christian McCaffrey rushed for 199 yards, while Bryce Love added 89 yards in the win. Trenton Irwin and Michael Rector added 31 and 10 receiving yards respectively.
Ryan Nall rushed for 77 yards for Oregon State, while Art Pierce added 31 yards. Marcus McMaryion threw for 137 yards for the Beavers, while receivers Victor Bolden and Timmy Hernandez had 109 and 9 yards respectively.
Oregon State lost the offensive yardage battle to Stanford 425-266 yards in Saturday's game. Stanford had more first downs as that total ended up 20-8.
Stanford led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:04-20:56 split in that important category.
Stanford looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oregon. Oregon State will aim to get back on the winning track at UCLA.
