Kansas State Falls 26-6 to Horned Frogs - Recap

The battle between the Horned Frogs and Wildcats didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Kansas State was handed a 26-6 defeat on Saturday at Snyder Family Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Horned Frogs were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -7.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 49.0.

Kyle Hicks rushed for 58 yards, while Kenny Hill added 13 yards in the win. KaVontae Turpin and Kyle Hicks added 70 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Alex Delton rushed for 39 yards for Kansas State, while Justin Silmon added 14 yards. Alex Delton threw for 146 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Byron Pringle and Isaiah Zuber had 80 and 40 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to TCU 395-216 yards in Saturday's game. TCU had more first downs as that total ended up 17-10.

TCU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:06-27:54 split in that important category.

TCU heads into a 8 battle against Kansas. Kansas State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Oklahoma.
